The Sauna am Fluss is Zurich's social sauna located right on the Limmat river – a place where sauna, ice bath, and community merge into a new experience in the heart of the city.
We believe that sauna can be more than a traditional wellness ritual. That is why we are creating an accessible, uncomplicated place where people come together and switch off – with events, new formats, and a community that helps shape the place.
From September, we are looking for host personalities with organizational talent as Sauna Hosts for our pop-up sauna operation until May 2027.

Experience in gastronomy, hotel business, events, or hospitality is a plus, but not a requirement. Much more important to us are your open nature, your reliability, and your joy in interacting with people.

Your Responsibilities

• As a Sauna Host, you are right in the middle of daily operations. You have an overview of the sauna operations, are there for our guests, and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You pay attention to order and cleanliness, keep an eye on the different areas, and pitch in wherever it is currently needed.

• You welcome our guests, assist them with questions, and ensure a friendly and uncomplicated reception. If necessary, you explain the process, the sauna, and the most important rules, and remain approachable during their stay.

• You ensure that everything runs smoothly during your shift. This includes, for example, checking the saunas and ice baths, replenishing materials, and smaller organizational tasks. You keep an overview and react in a calm and solution-oriented manner when something does not go according to plan.

• You look after our small gastronomy offer and ensure that drinks and other offers are ready for our guests. This also includes simple preparation work, replenishing products, and keeping the gastronomy area tidy.

• You ensure that our facilities and outdoor area are clean and inviting. Before and after opening hours, tidying up, cleaning, and preparation work are also part of your shift.

• You work with our booking system and handle the check-in of our guests. You have an overview of who is expected and help with questions regarding bookings and their stay.

• You will be involved in events and special formats, supporting their preparation and execution.

Your Qualifications

You want to fully involve yourself in our one-year-old start-up, take on responsibility, and actively shape a unique place. As an open and communicative personality, you enjoy approaching people, like interacting with our guests, and make sure they feel completely at ease with your attentive nature. In our dynamic environment, you always think ahead, act independently, and implement things on your own initiative. In doing so, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and quickly find pragmatic solutions even to unexpected challenges. Since we are a gastronomy and experience destination, weekend and evening shifts are a natural part of the job for you. Even when things get particularly busy in our sauna village and hectic during peak times, you always keep a cool head, set the right priorities, and work confidently and independently.

What We Offer You

With us, you will work right on the Limmat – in the middle of Zurich and yet wonderfully embedded in nature. A young, uncomplicated team and a warm, open working atmosphere await you. Since you will be working directly in ongoing sauna operations, dealing with a wide variety of people every day, and getting first-hand experience with events and special formats, no two days are the same with us. In your role, you will take on responsibility for your tasks from the very beginning and work independently, while always being part of a small team where everyone supports each other. And as a special bonus: you are of course welcome to experience the relaxed atmosphere of our Sauna am Fluss yourself and use our entire offer free of charge.
